I loved their reggae stuff like One More Time more than their other stuff, Armagideon Time was my favourite Clash Song. The riddim is used in a lot of reggae songs. It’s called The Real Rock riddim. First version is Real Rock by Sound Dimension in 1968. The producer was the legendary Coxsone Dodd. Still owe The Clash, cause they made me listen to dub and reggae. ❤

Topper avait aussi une culture de musique classique et de concert classique, écouter Tommy Gun et le comparer avec le Boléro de Ravel, les structures sont les mêmes et le jeu est orchestrale. Déjà, à Mont de Marsan en France en 1977, dans des enregistrements de mauvaise qualité, on distingue chez lui une grammaire, un sens de la ponctuation et un vocabulaire.
